Note: Paying Sales Tax is the responsibility of the buyer. When registering an aircraft on the FAA register, the owner will often immediately get a bill for Sales Tax from the State where registered. Some states do not charge Sales Tax.
S-LSA: There is an extra charge of $1,000 for S-LSA registration/airworthiness. This covers registration (custom numbers), placarding, documentation and DAR airworthiness inspection.
